Extremely Rotten Productions is an underground death metal label and store based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

We offer both mail order services and have a physical store in town located on Gothersgade 135, just next to the Nørreport station.

The store is open Tuesday to Saturday.

Besides releasing and distributing death metal, we also organize local death metal concerts under the moniker “Extremely Rotten Death Metal” – see Shows for any upcoming concerts we’re organising.

Shipping terms

We ship worldwide.

All of our mail goes out through PostNord and all orders come with tracking included in the postage cost you’ve paid when checking out through our webstore.

We ship through a business “PostNord Tracked” arrangement, which offers reasonably cheap postage costs including tracking – but packages are not insured.

No exceptions, unless the customer gets in touch directly and asks for it otherwise. To do so, include a message about you choosing to have your order shipped untracked and uninsured AT YOUR OWN RISK and we’ll look into shipping your order as wished. We will update you about a refund in shipping, if there is any difference in the cost you’ve already paid. We do not recommend this, but it can be done at the customers own choice and we will not be held responsible for lost mail if shipping this way is chosen.

If you wish to have your order shipped insured, it can be arranged at your own additional cost. If you wish for this, please add a note to your order about this and we’ll get that done and update you about additional costs and where to pay.

ERP does not stand responsible for packages lost/damaged in the mail in general – please use the tracking number provided and talk to the postal companies in your own country if you have any issues after your order tracking shows it has left Denmark.

Orders within Denmark get shipped with “PostNord Collect”, meaning you’ll be notified through SMS and EMAIL (which has to be provided when you place your order) about where you can later collect your order near you. We do so to avoid delays with attempted home deliveries, as we expect most people to be away from home during the daytime hours of normal PostNord deliveries. If you for some reason prefer home delivery instead, please do note so with a message with your order and we can arrange so too.

We mail out thousands of orders every year and very rarely have any issues. So overall, the recommended standard tracked shipping provided will make sure your order reaches you alright.

We pack up your orders as securely as we’d like to receive mail ourselves. Vinyl will be packed outside the LP/EP covers and inside the plastic sleeves (unless the release has been delivered to us shrink-wrapped and we therefore choose not to open up the new item, unless directly requested by the customer) and with extra cardboard protected on either side of the content inside a cardboard box with extended sides to prevent damaged corners to the cover. CDs, tapes and merch will be packed and shipped with fitting cardboard and/or bubble wrap protection.

Local pick up

If you want to order in advance and come by the store and pick up your order, you can do so by choosing “Local pickup” when you check out from our webstore, then there are no shipping fees added. Please wait for an email confirmation about your order to be ready for pick-up before coming by the store on Gothersgade 135 during our regular opening hours Tuesday to Saturday. Just present your name or order number and we’ll have it ready for you under the desk. It’ll usually be ready within 24 hours of ordering.

If you are visiting from outside of Denmark and wish to check-out via local pick-up at the store and do not have a Danish address to use to pick this option, please use the Extremely Rotten Productions store address for the address when checking out, to avoid shipping fees being added:

When can I expect my order to be shipped?

We pack mail several days a week and have a weekly pick-up from PostNord on Fridays. Generally, handling of orders can happen anywhere between 1-14 days, depending on how busy we currently are with the store, mail orders, shows, etc.

You’ll receive an update including tracking number once your order has been processed in our system.
